No! Thanks to our unique design and click system, installation is completely tool-free and only takes seconds! For a step-by-step guide, check out the video below to see how to install your YIPPY:

The YIPPY chair can be installed, adjusted, converted, or stored in just 5 seconds, making it incredibly user-friendly.
Your baby can use the YIPPY from birth when using it with the Newborn Unit. Once your baby reaches 6 months and can maintain an upright sitting position independently, they can move on to the Starter Set. Note that developmental milestones vary.

Absolutely! Here’s a simple guide based on your baby’s age:

  • From Birth:YIPPY with the Newborn Unit. This combination is perfect for your little one right from the start.
  • From 6 Months:YIPPY with the Starter Set, Food Tray and Harness. This setup will support your baby as they grow and start exploring solids. You can also add the Starter Cushion (suitable for ages 6 to 18 months) or Standard Cushion (suitable for ages 6 to 36 months) for extra padding.
  • Ensure both front and rear legs are fully extended, the ‘click’ sound will be an indicator to this.
  • Place the chair on a flat surface.
  • For children under 15 kg, ensure the rear gliders are securely attached to avoid tipping over.
  • Check that the seat and footrest are properly installed.

It’s simple and quick! Once the Starter Set is firmly installed on the seat, insert the Food Tray to the required groove and lock the tray in place to the Starter Set.  Check out our video guide for step-by-step instructions.

How do I attach the Starter or Standard Cushion?

The YIPPY cushions provide extra padding and support, keeping your little one safe and comfortable in their seat.
  • Sure! Here’s the guideline for each cushion:
    • Starter Cushion: Suitable for children from 6 months to 18 months old. Its cocoon design provides extra support to your baby’s posture and neck as they transit into the Starter Set.
    • Standard Cushion: Suitable for children from 6 months to 3 years old, and beyond! You can continue to use the seatboard cushion on its own after your child has grown out of the Starter Set and exceeds 15 kg.
    We recommend transitioning from the Starter Cushion to the Standard Cushion as your child grows.
  • Starter Cushion: Hand-wash at a water temperature of 40°C or less and dry it thoroughly.
  • Standard Cushion: Avoid washing it with water to keep the polyurethane foam in shape. Instead, use a damp cloth, wring it out well, and wipe it clean.
Yes, both cushions are water repellent. Just keep in mind that this effect isn’t permanent, as it can wear off with daily use and care, but that’s completely normal.
